Senegal 1–0 Egypt — Mané Sends the Lions Through in a Tense AFCON Clash

Senegal 1–0 Egypt — Mané Delivers the Late Winner in AFCON Semi-Final!

In a tense Africa Cup of Nations semifinal in Tangier, Senegal edged Egypt 1–0 to book their place in the final. The match was tight and competitive from the start — both teams struggled to create clear chances in a cagey first half. But just after the hour mark, Sadio Mané stepped up and fired home the decisive 78th-minute winner, drilling a low shot into the bottom corner after a loose ball fell kindly for him.

Senegal controlled much of the game with better possession and pressure, while Egypt, led by Mohamed Salah, was kept largely quiet until late. Despite pushing in the closing stages, the Pharaohs couldn’t find an equalizer, and Senegal’s defence held firm to reach the AFCON final.

Final Score: Senegal 1–0 Egypt
Goals: Sadio Mané 78′ 🚀
