Marseille took control early with goals from Amine Gouiri, Mason Greenwood, Hamed Traoré, and Timothy Weah before halftime, establishing a commanding 4–0 lead going into the break. Angers pulled one back in stoppage time before halftime through Amine Sbai, but Igor Paixão restored Marseille’s four‑goal margin late on.
